OPSEC

Operational security involves not revealing any information that could threaten military or combat operations. I don't consider this a milspouse blog, but given that the military permeates so many aspects of my life, it's impossible to avoid mention of it entirely. In light of this, I take the following precautions:

• I use initials or nicknames for everyone I write about. This is partially to maintain the privacy of friends and family who may not want personally identifying information online, but more specifically to protect my husband and others who are on active duty. 
• While I do discuss deployments and might mention when K is gone for training, I don't give specific information about dates, locations, or assignments.

Some readers may find this annoying or think I'm paranoid, but I hope others appreciate my efforts.
